Stable Bleaching Powder (SBP) is manufactured by Chlorination of high grade Hydrated Lime (Slaked Lime) using Liquid chlorine. It decomposes on contact with water, releasing chlorine at the point of application this makes it a strong oxidising, bleaching and disinfecting agent.
